Volkl is a German sporting goods company known for their skiing and tennis equipment. Since the release of their first tennis racquet in 1972, they have remained focused on engineering revolutionary new technologies. Volkl tennis racquets are used on the professional tours by players such as Radek Stepanek. Volkl's trademark technology is DNX. Volkl DNX is a revolutionary material developed in the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany. DNX is made of carbon nanotubes that are both lighter and 25 times stronger than standard carbon fibers. Racquets with DNX are able to resist twisting better, increase stability on off center shots. Volkl tennis racquets with DNX provide maximum stability and power without sacrificing control. The Volkl Power Bridge 10 Light, is a lighter 295g (unstrung) weight version of the PB 10 players racquet. Maintains the use of Volkl's DNX material in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions as well as in the cap above the grip, but with the added stability of the DNX-reinforced Power Bridge in the throat area. DNX material placed in key regions, combined with a stiffer frame construction in the shaft area produces maximum power in a player's frame.
The Volkl Power Bridge 8 is a power-minded racquet that is surprisingly controlled - delivering an energetic transfer of speed & spin to the ball.
The ENERGY 3 is also equipped with the advanced technologies of the ENERGY BOX and ENERGY SHAFT. The new SENSOR PLUS Handle System effectively protects the player from harmful vibrations and impact shock.
